This month, the South Carolina Baptist Convention launched a new Web site with enhanced features, easier navigation and extended capabilities.
The new site, still located at www.scbaptist.org, features highlights of upcoming events coupled with an emphasis on images and other media. Services provided by the convention are also highlighted for easy navigation.
“The redesign of the site gives the user the ability to locate the many services and resources of the convention staff based on its organizational structure. This format, coupled with the ‘Resources’ and ‘Quick Links’ tabs, gives Web site readers yet another way to access the information they need,” said Roger Orman, director of the SCBC communications and ministry development team.
Formatted with today’s Internet user in mind, the site also features video clips, MP3 audio files and other resources. Later this summer, podcasts and live video streaming will also be available.
