Kent Humphries

The mission of LifeWorks is to be a conduit for Christian professionals seeking to successfully apply their faith in the marketplace, providing education and encouragement through a commitment to biblical teaching and quality programming.

Speaker Kent Humphries, president of Fellowship of Companies for Christ International, shared on the topic “Showing Christ in Your Workplace – Naturally.” His text was from Colossians 1:28-29: “So naturally we proclaim Christ – .”

Humphries shared practical principles of sharing Christ in the workplace by observing, finding needs, being sensitive, listening, being available, serving, caring, encouraging, loving others and communicating.

Ministry in the marketplace, Humphries emphasized, is in understanding their needs, their need to be loved, and our objective is to communicate Christ’s love. “The secular becomes spiritual,” he says, “if done for the eternal.”
