Stephen Watson

STEPHEN WATSON was installed March 9 as pastor of Sullivan’s Island Baptist Church. Watson is a 2003 graduate of Southwestern Baptist Seminary and a 1996 graduate of The Citadel, where he served as regimental religious officer. For six years, he and his wife Darci served with the South Carolina Baptist Convention ministering to college students. From 2001 until 2005, he was the BCM director for the College of Charleston, the Medical University of South Carolina, and The Citadel. In the spring of 2005, he served as BCM director for Clemson University. In November 2007, he began an interim pastorate at Bounty Land Baptist Church, Seneca. The Watsons have three children: Titus, Molly and Thomas.

 

 

 

 

 

Joseph Heathcoat

JOSEPH HETHCOAT began duties March 8 as pastor of High Point Baptist Church, Lancaster. A graduate of Southern Baptist Seminary, he has been a pastor for 16 years. He comes to High Point from Middlesboro, Ky.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Garold Thomas

GAROLD THOMAS is serving as pastor of First Baptist Church, Moore. He and his wife Rachel and their son Wesley moved into the renovated parsonage in March. Under Thomas’ leadership, the church has had nine new members.
