A search committee selected from the Executive Board’s planning and ministries committee will work with executive director-treasurer Jim Austin to secure a new multiplication team associate executive director for the staff of the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
Glenn Taylor, Pleasant View Baptist Church, Anderson, chairs the search committee. Others are Marion Britton, Lighthouse Baptist Church, Aiken; Brian Harris, Rock Springs Baptist Church, Blacksburg; David Anderson, Maple Cane Baptist Church, Cottageville, ex officio; and Tom Swilley, Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Conway, ex officio. Anderson chairs the Executive Board’s planning and ministries committee. Swilley is chairman of the Executive Board.
The associate executive director of the multiplication team will provide leadership to the church multiplication, collegiate ministry, and people group teams of the state convention.
