The Southern Baptist Convention’s six seminaries will host luncheons for alumni and guests June 11 in conjunction with the Southern Baptist Convention’s annual meeting at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
GOLDEN GATE – Seminary president Jeff Iorg will be the featured speaker at the seminary’s luncheon at 12:30 p.m. in Rooms 208-209 at the Indiana Convention Center. Tickets, at $10 per person, can be ordered by calling 1-888-442-8709.
MIDWESTERN – Midwestern Baptist Seminary will host its luncheon at noon at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, in Marriott Ballrooms 7, 8, 9, 10 on Level 2, across the street from the convention center. MBTS president Philip Roberts will be the featured speaker. NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans Baptist Seminary’s luncheon will be in the Indiana Convention Center’s Sagamore Ballrooms 5, 6 and 7 from noon to 2 p.m. NOBTS president Chuck Kelley will report on new initiatives to be launched by the seminary during the coming year and present the seminary’s distinguished alumni awards. SOUTHEASTERN – Seminary president Daniel Akin will be the featured speaker at the luncheon, to be held at noon. Akin will give an update on the seminary’s mission and lay out his vision for Southeastern’s future growth. The luncheon will be held in the Indiana Convention Center’s Sagamore 4 Ballroom, Level 2. SOUTHERN – Southern Seminary will hold its luncheon at 12:30 p.m. in the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, Ballrooms 1-5 on Level 2. Seminary president Albert Mohler Jr. will be the keynote speaker.
