Clyde K. Bizzell, of Louisville, Ky., a native of Norway, S.C., who served in numerous ministry capacities outside South Carolina for more than 50 years, died April 5, 2008.
Clyde BizzellBizzell was a graduate of Furman University and Southwestern Baptist Seminary. He was former associate pastor of Emmanuel Baptist, Alexandria, La.; First Baptist, Pensacola, Fla.; and Park Cities Baptist, Dallas, Tex.
He also served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Bizzell was remembered at a service on April 12 at Norway Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister and nieces and nephews.
