A search committee has been appointed from the Executive Board planning and ministries committee to work with Jim Austin, executive director-treasurer, in seeking a new associate executive director for church vitalization team of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Ray Mims is serving as committee chairman.
The associate executive director for church vitalization team will give leadership in the design and development of a well-balanced church vitalization plan leading to spiritual growth for the local church, and will also develop resources which incorporate the principles of Experience Kingdom Life.
