Trimming back your plans for the summer due to the high cost of gasoline? Join the club. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could find a way to go where you want to go and never have to worry about the price at the pump?

Nissan may have just what you need. It’s called Pivo, a concept car introduced a couple of years ago at the Tokyo Motor Show. But you can’t buy it yet. The only place you can see the Pivo at the moment is at the Science Museum in London.

But if you could own the Pivo, now would be the ideal time. You wouldn’t have to worry about pump prices at all because the Pivo doesn’t run on gas. It’s powered by a lithium-ion battery. And as if that was not novel enough, the Pivo boasts of a rotating cabin. The driver never has to put the car in reverse. Good thing, too, because the Pivo has no reverse gear. Instead, if you want to go back the way you came, you just pivot the cabin 180 degrees (hence the car’s name), so you are always looking forward. And that’s not all. Still concerned about getting a clear view of things? Visibility is boosted even more by a monitoring system that displays the Pivo’s surroundings on screens inside the cabin.

Know what? That’s not only a great concept for a car. It would be great in life, too. Imagine being able to spin and see the past and spin again and look ahead to the future. Imagine having a clear view of your life from every angle, all the time. Wouldn’t that be nice? Sure would cut down on a lot of bad decisions.

But we can’t see life that way. Good thing God can. And we can tap into his God’s-eye-view of our lives just by trusting him and adjusting our perspective to His way of looking at life. “I know the plans I have for you,” God says (Jeremiah 29:11). And trusting God has a way of cutting down on worry. “Don’t worry about your life,” Jesus said (Matthew 6:25).

Just think. Your relationship with God gives you the privilege of knowing the One who knows your whole life.

What a great concept.
