Steve Cloud has joined the South Carolina Baptist Convention staff as interim associate executive director of the church vitalization team. Cloud will serve on a temporary basis while the administrative committee of the convention’s Executive Board continues to review possible candidates to assume the position full time.
Steve CloudCloud served 20 years as pastor of Northside Baptist Church, West Columbia. In the years since his pastorate, Cloud has been the director of the Pastor’s Coaching Network.
Cloud has also held positions within the convention – including convention president and first vice president – and was a member of the Executive Board 2003-2005.
The church vitalization team seeks to serve churches in various capacities including age group ministries, church administration, church revitalization, and worship and music.
