Paul White Jr., retired pastor of Groveland Baptist Church in Taylors, has published an illustrated book, “The Tater Family,” which uses drawings of potato-inspired characters to help teach character lessons.
The book is based on a sermon that White preached over the years called “The Potato Family Versus the Christian Family.”
Characters include “Imi-Tater,” “Dic-Tater,” “Agi-Tater” and “Sweet-Tater.” The full-color drawings were co-created by a friend and by the author’s daughter and granddaughter.
