Voddie Baucham, renowned writer, speaker and strong advocate of Christian worldview, recently challenged students and faculty at Charleston Southern University to not only integrate their faith in society but also in the classroom.
Voddie BauchamDuring his visit to Charleston Southern, Baucham dialogued with faculty and staff about the importance of integrating faith in learning. Baucham spoke from 1 Peter 3:13-16 on the three aspects faith and learning: know what you believe, know why you believe, and know how to communicate your faith to others. He challenged faculty to develop articulate people who can speak, write, and be persuasive on character issues in order to not just win arguments, but to win hearts and minds.

Baucham currently serves as the pastor of Preaching at Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, Tex. He serves as an adjunct professor at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Tex., and Union University in Jackson, Tenn. He has also lectured at Southern Seminary.
