Eddie LeopardEddie Leopard, pastor of Millbrook Baptist Church, Aiken, and president of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, spoke during convocation at Charleston Southern University Oct. 8. He cited Hebrews 11 as he spoke of running the race of life. “Life is a race; it’s a distance race, and life is hard. There’s a temptation to sit out and just criticize the race,” said Leopard. He encouraged those present to run their best race and concluded, “When you finish the race and hit the tape, only what you have done for the kingdom of God will matter.”
