NAMB appoints missionary couple to serve in Upstate

Kermit and Henrietta Morris

The North American Mission Board has appointed Kermit and Henrietta Morris as new missionaries in South Carolina, of Moore, where Kermit will serve as a church planting missionary for upstate South Carolina. Most recently, Kermit worked for the South Carolina Baptist Convention.

Kermit earned a B.S. degree in physical education at East Texas Baptist University and an M.S. degree in religious education at Southwestern Baptist Seminary.

Over his career, Kermit has served as associate, youth and education pastor, and church planter at a number of SBC churches in Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Nevada, Missouri, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Connecticut.

Henrietta also attended East Texas Baptist University. They are members of Fairforest Baptist Church, Spartanburg.
