Messengers from South Carolina Baptist churches are set to gather at Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Columbia Nov. 15-16 for the state convention’s annual meeting.
Russell Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, will give the keynote address on Wednesday.
State Baptists will also elect a slate of officers, consider resolutions on key public issues, and adopt a budget to support the Cooperative Program work of the SCBC’s Executive Board ministries and institutional partners.
Tom Tucker, SCBC president and pastor of Sisk Memorial Baptist Church in Fort Mill, will preside.
Helping lead in worship over the two-day meeting will be the South Carolina Baptist Singing Churchmen, Anderson University Gospel Choir, Sisk Memorial Praise Team, and North Greenville BSU-Grass Band.
