Paul McKee, a missions ministry consultant for Spartanburg County Baptist Network for the last 10 years, has been named director of missions for the network.
He succeeds Jim Goodroe, who retired after serving as director of missions since 2000.
McKee, who was elected by the network March 1, previously served in Columbia Metro Baptist Association as director of missions ministries, as a pastor in Tennessee, and an associate pastor in Texas.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University, a master of science in social work from the University of Texas, and a master of arts in ministry-based evangelism from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He and his wife, Beth, have one son, Caleb. They are members of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church.
