Year-to-date contributions through the SBC’s Cooperative Program are 0.16 percent behind the same time frame in 2007.
As of Nov. 30, the year-to-date total of $33,184,197 for Cooperative Program missions is $53,789 below the $33,237,987 received at the same point in 2007. For the month, receipts of $15,388,944 were 16.63 percent, or $3,069,155, below the $18,458,100 received in November 2007. Designated giving of $7,665,307 for the same period is 12.95 percent, or $878,861, above gifts of $6,786,446 received at this point last year. The $3,759,026 in designated gifts received last month is $34,917 above the $3,724,109 received in November 2007.
The Cooperative Program is Southern Baptists’ method of supporting missions and ministry efforts of state conventions and the Southern Baptist Convention. The Cooperative Program total includes receipts from individuals, churches, state conventions and fellowships.
