I want to thank you for the Commentary in the recent edition (“Sharing the load of the Lord’s work,” Dec. 11). Every South Carolina Baptist needs to read it. I also believe the next year at least will show what kind of people we really are with regard to giving. I’m not sure we’re made of the same stuff the Macedonians were that Paul commended, but we’ll see.
