Anderson University’s ACCEL adult evening program is offering three new degrees, one of which can be earned online.

The expansion of the ACCEL program, in which enrollment has increased by more than 15 percent since last year, is due in part to an increasing demand for working adults to be more competitive in their professions by having college degrees, said David Shirley, dean of College of Adult and Professional Studies.

The three new programs – bachelor of organizational leadership, bachelor of human services, and bachelor of liberal studies (beginning fall 2009) – each provide two options: degree completion for those possessing an associate’s degree, and a larger course of study for those without an associate’s degree.

The bachelor of human services program and the behavioral science concentration will provide students with the option of completing a degree on campus or online if they have earned credit in specific general education courses.
