Latta Baptist Church recently spearheaded “A Weekend of Encouragement,” a marriage retreat held Feb. 2-4 in Myrtle Beach, with participants from the coastal regions of both Carolinas. Christian psychologist Charles Lowery was the featured speaker. The event was made possible with the support of the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina, Pee Dee Baptist Association, and the Janie Chapman Offering for state missions.
