A recent Atlanta-Journal Constitution story profiles Ernie Johnson, studio host for TNT’s NBA broadcasts.
JohnsonJohnson’s wife, Cheryl DeLuca-Johnson, directs a ministry called Street Grace, a church-based ministry that works to eliminate the sexual exploitation of children. The Johnsons have four children, two of whom they adopted from Romania and Paraguay.
The story also details Johnson’s battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which has been in remission for more than two years.
“We will continue to deal with this the one way we know how,” Johnson said in a recorded segment that aired on TNT. “We trust God. Period.”
