During his 36 years in the ministry, Webb served seven churches in Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. His last two pastorates were Southside Baptist in Honea Path and Cedar Grove Baptist. Webb was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Men who were called into the ministry under Webb’s mentorship served as pallbearers at his funeral. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Wilson Webb, two children and three grandchildren.
