Alan QuigleyALAN QUIGLEY, a former state evangelism strategist in Oklahoma, is the new pastor of South Main Street Baptist Church, Greenwood.
As evangelism group leader for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, Quigley developed CROSS, a program that in three years reached more than 2 million homes in Oklahoma. The North American Mission Board has adopted CROSS as its outreach effort. Quigley also has worked in coordination with Falwell Ministries and Liberty University to develop a curriculum for evangelism and outreach for seminary students.
He has completed course work for a doctor of ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary. He holds a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary and a B.A. in religion from Ouachita Baptist University.
He has pastored churches in Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas.
He and his wife Cindy have three school-age children.
Bill PfisterBILL PFISTER has been called as pastor of Locust Hill Baptist Church, Travelers Rest. He comes from Little River Church in Brevard, N.C. He previously was pastor of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Hartsville, served on a church staff in North Carolina while in seminary at Southeastern, and has served as a church-planting missionary with the International Mission Board in Argentina. He and his wife, the former Patricia Cothran, have three children.
Rob BrazellROB BRAZELL was called May 3 as pastor of Mt. Elon Baptist Church, Lydia. Previously, he was associate pastor of Jamestown Baptist Church, Conway. Brazell earned a bachelor of arts degree in Christian studies from North Greenville University and a masters of divinity degree in Christian ministry from Southeastern Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Lindsay have two children, Noah and ZanaGrace.
JAMES RICHARD JOLLEY has accepted the position of music minister at Little Mountain Baptist Church, Wellford, where he has been serving as interim.
JAMES LLOYD recently began duties as interim pastor at Little Mountain Baptist Church, Wellford.
TERRY LANFORD began duties as pastor of Grassy Pond Baptist Church, Broad River Baptist Association, on June 14. He previously served as associate pastor at First Baptist Church, North Spartanburg.
