Christians must be bold

The Baptist Courier

While watching the news yesterday, I learned the ACLU is on the attack again against Christianity. I prayed about what our response should be as Christians, and the answer did not surprise me. Christianity is not a private religion kept quiet so we won’t offend anyone, but rather a relationship that must be shouted from the rooftops.

We must be bold without hesitation, reservation or fear of legislation. We must boldly proclaim Christ in the workplace, schools and government buildings, as man’s law is not above God’s command. We must no longer back down to the liberal agenda that seeks to destroy our nation.

We should have no fear of those who can harm the body, but fear those who can harm the souls of people yet born again. We are one nation under God. We must return to our first love, Jesus Christ. For myself, the line has been drawn in the sand.
