Page honored, commissioned at Taylors First Baptist Church

Frank and Dale Page recently said goodbye to members of Taylors First Baptist Church at a reception held in their honor.

Church members came to Taylors First Baptist on Sunday evening, Oct. 25, to participate in a commissioning and celebration service for their pastor, Frank Page, who has accepted the position of vice president of evangelization with the North American Mission Board.

Guests included members of Page’s family, former pastors at Taylors and area directors of missions.

Page addressed the congregation and spoke from Hebrews 12:1-2. He gave a “challenge of the future” to the people. He said he knows that God has a plan for the church’s future. Page said it has always been his goal to point the congregation to Jesus. He then uttered what he said were his first and would be his last words from the Taylors pulpit: “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.”
