Jon and Alana Varner of Clemson were among the messengers attending the 189th annual meeting of the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
Nell Bagwell and Barbara Price of Lexington Baptist Association work the registration desk. They said they had “a good time visiting with each other” during the annual meeting.
Steve Bagwell and his son Cole, along with Earl Paxton from Eastview Baptist Church, Pelzer, attend the annual meeting for the first time. Cole said he tried to get everyone’s business card as he made his way around the exhibit hall. 
Ethelene and Carroll Gandy, Joy Davis and pastor Brad Jordan from Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartsville take time to look around the exhibit hall. Davis said this year’s convention was full of “good information and good messages.”
Brenda Boyd, Geraldine Tucker, Charles Tucker, and William Lewis, from Blackstock First Baptist Church, had the opportunity to attend one of the “Lunch and Learn” sessions, and said they enjoyed the session taught by Jim Austin, executive director-treasurer of the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
