Brian Harris

BRIAN HARRIS was called as pastor by Friendship Baptist Church, Pauline, on Jan. 10. A graduate of Southeastern Baptist Seminary, Gardner-Webb University and Spartanburg Methodist College, he previously served as pastor of Rock Springs Baptist Church, Blacksburg. Harris and his wife, Dawn, have three children – Christian, Eli and Olivia.

 

Daryl Tolleson

DARYL TOLLESON was called as pastor of First Baptist Church, Mayo, on Feb. 1. He previously served as associate pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Spartanburg. Tolleson will complete studies for a master’s degree in theology from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary this spring. He and his wife, Ashlee, have two sons.

Robby Kissiah

CHAD WOODWARD and ROBBY KISSIAH recently were ordained as deacons at Redds Branch Baptist Church in Aiken. Woodward and his wife Teresa have three children. Kissiah and his wife Toni are the parents of two. Gary Hanna is pastor.

 

RODNEY NICHOLSON began duties as pastor of High Point Baptist Church, Pageland, on Feb. 14. He previously served at Taxahaw Baptist Church, Lancaster. Nicholson and his wife, Polly, have two children: Matthew, 14; and Megan, 11. Ed Griggs has served as interim pastor at High Point for the past year.

 

DANIEL BLACKWELL was called as pastor by Glendale Baptist Church, Spartanburg County Network, on Feb. 14. He has served as student minister at Glendale since 2004. In May of this year, Blackwell will earn a B.S. degree in religion with a minor in Christian counseling from Liberty University. He and his wife, Teresa, have three daughters and two sons. Blackwell began duties at Glendale on Feb. 28.
