WMU announces nominees for executive board, nominating committee

Woman’s Missionary Union, auxiliary to the South Carolina Baptist Convention, has announced the 2010-2011 nominees for executive board positions and the 2011 nominees for nominating committee positions.

The South Carolina WMU executive board manages the business of the organization during the year. Election of board members will take place March 19 during the WMU annual meeting at Ashley River Baptist Church in Charleston.

Nominations for the executive board are made by the nominating committee, also elected at the WMU annual meeting. The committee considers involvement in WMU on the state, associational and local level when making selections.

The nominees for the 2010-2011 WMU executive board are listed below by office with region, name and church.
