A team of 14 Anderson University students and two others traveled to Paradise, Guatemala, Dec. 12-17. The team worked with missionaries Nathan and Claudia Hardeman at a soccer stadium being built to provide a place for neighborhood children to come together and play.

“I don’t think the children will ever realize the joy they brought into our lives,” said Elise Welch, a sophomore from Boiling Springs. “We shared Christ’s love as a gift of gratitude. Listening to our precious new friends repeat a prayer of salvation is what truly made this a ‘Christmas in Paradise.’?”
