Mack Eldridge Fletcher, 76, of Granite Falls, N.C., who formerly served as a minister in South Carolina, died Feb. 23, 2010.
He was minister of music and youth at New Prospect Baptist Church in Anderson from 1972-1979. He also served churches in Tennessee and North Carolina during his 45-year ministry.
Born in Elizabethton, Tenn., he graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in music education and from Southwestern Seminary with a master of religious education degree.
Survivors include his wife, Florine, four children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by a daughter.
