A quartet of well-known Southern Baptist church leaders will combine their talents to teach a course in “Evangelism and Church Health” this summer as part of the master of ministry program at Anderson University.

The instructors include former church planter Ed Stetzer, president of LifeWay Research and a popular speaker and author; Ken Hemphill, national strategist for Empowering Kingdom Growth of the Southern Baptist Convention and former president of Southwestern Seminary; Mike Glenn, senior pastor of Brentwood Baptist Church in Nashville; and Don Cox, senior pastor of Concord Baptist Church in Anderson and former evangelism professor in the Billy Graham School of Missions and Evangelism at Southern Seminary.

“This group is like a ‘dream team’ of evangelistic leaders among Southern Baptists,” said Michael Duduit, dean of the College of Christian Studies at Anderson University. “They bring not only strong academic credentials, but also an amazing array of practical experiences and talents to our classroom.”

The course will be held July 12-16 on the Anderson campus. Participants will complete the three-hour graduate-level course in one week.

While most who take the course are enrolled in the master of ministry program, a limited number of places will be available to church leaders who wish to attend as visiting students.
