North Greenville University is winding down a summer of hosting Centrifuge, a youth camp sponsored by LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention, and M-Fuge, a sister camp that adds missions involvement to the camp experience.

The M-Fuge ministry allows approximately 300 campers and counselors to serve in ministry each camp day in the greater Greenville area.

Steve Crouse, vice president for campus ministries, said the university began hosting camps in early June. The final camp will conclude July 31. Average weekly attendance has been about 800.

“Centrifuge and M-Fuge continue the school’s mission as an institution during the summer to reach people for Christ and help them develop as disciples on mission for the kingdom, wherever God leads them,” Crouse said. “Last summer, more than 196 students came to know Christ on the NGU campus through this ministry. Many others made significant responses to Christ’s call in their lives.”
