SmithThe 2010 Coastal Evangelism Conference was held Aug. 4-6 at Langston Baptist Church, Conway (Waccamaw Association). Well-known pastors and Bible teachers led the conference. The event was attended by hundreds. Numerous displays were set up in the hallways to bring a greater awareness to the many ministries within Horry County. Robert Smith Jr. (above), associate professor of divinity at the Beeson Divinity School, Birmingham, Ala., was one of the guest speakers. “The Whisnants” (below) provided Southern Gospel music.
