Tim Rice, an Acts 1:8 strategist in the missions mobilization group of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, has been named interim director of that group following the resignation of Debbie McDowell.

As strategist, Rice specialized in helping volunteers for South Carolina’s mission projects, encouraging and providing training for South Carolina missionaries and chaplains, and promoting ministry evangelism throughout the state.
