Lawrence Webb, a minister and retired Anderson University professor, is the author of “Christmas Memories from Seven to Seventy,” a book of personal holiday recollections.

Some are sweet and wonderful. Some are funny. One or two are sad. Some, I hope, are inspirational reminders of the love expressed in Christ’s coming into the world.”
The stories also have a wide geographic span, from the author’s childhood home in rural West Texas to London’s Westminster Abbey.
In addition to his 23 years at Anderson University, Webb’s experience includes service at Pope Drive Baptist Church, Anderson, and other churches in Texas, Florida, Georgia and New York; denominational work with the Georgia Baptist Convention and the national Woman’s Missionary Union as editorial department director; and commercial newspaper editing.
