TIM PADGETT recently began duties as pastor of Gillisonville Baptist Church. He and his wife, Emily, are parents of two sons. Padgett joined retiring pastor Albert Tuten, Ralph Lee, John Huckabee, Kyle Waddell and Allen Perry in leading the church’s fall revival – and two new members accepted Christ and later were baptized as a result of the revival. Gillisonville is a member of Savannah River Association.

 

 

Joshua McClendon

JOSHUA D. McCLENDON has been called as pastor by Philippi Baptist Church, Johnston. He previously served as director of biblical studies and high school Bible teacher at Strong Rock Christian School, Locust Grove, Ga., and has been active in mission trips to Costa Rica, West Africa, Morocco, and Trinidad and Tobago. A 2004 graduate of Shorter College in Rome, Ga., McClendon is currently pursuing a master’s degree from New Orleans Seminary, Atlanta campus. He and his wife, Valerie, have one son, Judah, 7 months.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kenneth Sandifer

KENNETH B. SANDIFER retired from First Baptist Church, Darlington, on Oct. 17. During his 35 years of ministry, he held pastorates at Antioch Baptist Church, Enoree; Zion Hill Baptist Church, Spartanburg; and First Baptist Church, Mullins. He currently serves on the board of trustees at Charleston Southern University and has served on various committees in the South Carolina Baptist Convention. He and his wife, Beverly, will reside in Bamberg.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michael Hodge

MICHAEL R. HODGE was called as pastor of Enoree Baptist Church, Travelers Rest, on Sept. 19. He formerly served as associate pastor at Gowensville First Baptist Church, Landrum. Hodge and his wife Amanda are the parents of two children, Alexis and Jerrett.
