Chris J. Bowman, 59, of Dillon, former pastor of Latta Baptist Church, Latta, died Nov. 18, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton, N.C.
Born April 9, 1951, in Bossier Parish, La., Bowman was was a graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Ga.; Southwestern Seminary; and Drew University, Madison, N.J.
He was a retired minister and a member of First Baptist Church, Dillon.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Daws Bowman, and a daughter.
