James Marvin Napier Sr., of Warrenville, a pastor who served churches in South Carolina and Georgia, died Dec. 20, 2010.
He was born in Aiken County. He was employed by Graniteville Company and Savannah River Plant before answering God’s call to enter the ministry. He served Talatha Baptist Church in Aiken. He also served six Baptist churches in Georgia.
In addition to his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Johnson Napier, he is survived by three children, seven grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
