Kathryn Nicole McCullough, a senior at Spartanburg Christian Academy (a private school operated by First Church, North Spartanburg), has been awarded a regional college scholarship by the Southern Baptist Association of Christian Schools.
She was one of 56 high school seniors selected to compete in the national awards program and one of six regional winners.
SBACS maintains a database of more than 700 Christian schools affiliated with Southern Baptist churches, associations or conventions around the nation.
The scholarships recognize students of “exemplary expertise and accomplishments – Christian character and service to others.”
