Dave Bult Jr.DAVE BULT JR. began duties as pastor of Kingsburg Church, Johnsonville, on March 13. A native of Mullins, he previously served as associate pastor of Blessed Hope Church, Marion, for 13 years, and was athletic director and basketball coach at Dillon Christian School for 11 years. Bult is a graduate of Valdosta State University and Carolina Bible College. He and his wife JoAnn have a 9-year-old son, Chip.
Jason FeemsterJASON FEEMSTER was called as youth minister of Redds Branch Church, Aiken, on April 17. He and his wife Jennifer have two daughters, Carsyn and Emma Jane.
Brad HudsonBRAD HUDSON has been called by First Church, Bamberg, as minister of youth and young adults. A native of Gray Court, he is a graduate of Coker College and Southeastern Seminary. Hudson will be ordained by Mt. Vernon Church, Raleigh, N.C., on May 29.
Joe PaceJOE PACE has been called out of retirement to become pastor of Cheohee Church, Tamassee. He formerly was pastor of Refuge Church, Central, for 13 years before retiring last year. Pace’s prior pastorates also include Peters Creek Church, Dacusville; Rockton Church, Winnsboro; and Corinth Church, Seneca.
David LylesDAVID LYLES is currently serving as pastor of West End Church, Newberry. A native of Powdersville, he studied at Argentina Bilingual Bible Institute and North Greenville University, and is currently completing a master of divinity degree at Southern Seminary. Following college, he served as college pastor for two years at Siloam Church, and has worked in various teaching and preaching positions while in seminary. He has also led several local and foreign mission trips. Lyles, who was ordained May 3, and his wife Anna have one son, and are expecting a daughter in July.
Carl PooleCARL POOLE recently began duties as senior pastor of Wellford Church, Wellford. A native of Atlanta, he previously served as pastor of several churches in North and South Carolina during the past 17 years, including Ridgeland Church in Savannah River Association. Poole earned master of divinity and doctor of ministry degrees from Southeastern Seminary. He and his wife Melody have two daughters, Adrienne and Caroline.
