Jamie DuncanJAMIE DUNCAN has been called as senior pastor of East Pickens Church, Pickens. He previously was pastor of Good Hope Church, Iva, since March 2008. His first Sunday at East Pickens will be July 17. Duncan was born in Pickens and attended East Pickens Church through high school. He graduated from Furman University in 1998 and Southeastern Seminary in 2002. He served at Mt. Tabor Church in Dacusville as minister of music and youth before returning to East Pickens Church in 1997, where he served as minister of students and later as pastor of young families. He and his wife Chrissy are the parents of three daughters: Anna Beth, 7; Sarah, 5; and Brooke, 2.
JON PARKER recently began duties as part-time children/youth minister at Lake Wateree Church, Ridgeway. He is a graduate of Clemson University and Southeastern Seminary, and has served as a youth associate at churches in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
