Messengers to the 2O18 annual meeting of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, to be held Nov. 13-14 in North Charleston, will consider a bylaw change that would require individuals considered by the convention’s Nominations Committee to commit in writing to “affirm and reflect in practice” 1) the vision and mission of the SCBC, 2) the Baptist Faith & Message (2000) and 3) “sacrificial support for Great Commission giving, including the Cooperative Program.”
