I recently made a move from Anderson to Foothills Assisted Living in West Union, near Walhalla. There are not that many visitors here. There are plenty of churches in the area nearby, but the visitors we get are few. A few visitors from the church I attended in Anderson (Concord), have come up – which was great, because I miss them. But I would like to get to know the members of churches in this association (Beaverdam), so this letter is an invitation.
I know it is more customary to visit in nursing homes, but assisted living homes are for those who have some disabilities and need some help. We basically get around OK, and most of us just need walkers, but some of us have had strokes and other problems. My problems include walking problems and depression problems. So you all come up to visit us sometimes. I’ll be looking forward to seeing you.
