NGU Founders Day keynote chapel speaker Alex McFarland. On a rainy Wednesday morning Sept. 21, North Greenville University celebrated 119 years of existence with a Founders Day chapel service.
Alex McFarland, author and Christian apologist, delivered the keynote address. He referenced the third chapter of Proverbs. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart,” said McFarland. “Christianity is dead in Europe. America is losing its Christian heritage. You can make an impact for Christ. You can make a difference. Be the Nehemiah of our culture.”
In his introduction of McFarland, NGU president Jimmy Epting welcomed him to the Craft-Hemphill Center for Evangelism, Missions and Christian Worldview as the director of the Center for Apologetics. McFarland will be representing NGU at his national and international engagements.
