Fairview turns key over to North Greenville

NORTH GREENVILLE UNIVERSITY president Jimmy Epting and representatives of the soon-to-be established T. Walter Brashier Graduate School at Fairview were presented a symbolic key to the old sanctuary of Fairview Baptist Church, Greer, Sept. 18.

Terry Strickland, leadership development pastor, and Wayne Blair, chairman of the old facilities ministry team, made the presentation. Epting, in turn, presented a framed dollar, representing the first year’s lease payment to Strickland and Blair. Witnessing the event were Sam Isgett, executive director and dean of graduate studies; Ann Bowles, executive director of academics; and Chuck Morton, director of special programs.

Adult continuing education class will be offered at Fairview this month, and master’s level Christian ministry and business classes are planned for February.

Fairview Baptist will move into a new $12 million facility, adjacent to its former sanctuary, later this month.
