The Pastor’s Conference will meet at Trinity Baptist Church, Cayce, on Nov. 14, the day before the start of the annual meeting of the South Carolina Baptist Convention.

Goodale, who currently serves as vice president of the Pastor’s Conference, will be nominated by Tom Tucker, pastor of Sisk Memorial Baptist Church, Fort Mill.

After serving in the U.S. military for more than 8 years, Goodale joined the staff of Philippi Church in 1998 as student pastor. Four years later, the church called him to be senior pastor.

“The Lord has continued to grow and bless the church at Philippi Baptist immeasurably over the past 10 years,” said Tucker.

Goodale said he is “blessed to pastor one of the best church this side of heaven,” which he attributed to the church’s passion for “learning and living out God’s word and loving others.”

Goodale is a graduate of North Greenville University. He and his wife Stephanie have four children.
