SUZANNE REECE has been named as ministry consultant for the student resource team for national WMU. A native of Greenville, Reece is a former member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Reece, who joined the WMU staff Sept. 12, has more than 14 years experience working with children and youth in various settings, including church, camps and missions trips. Most recently, she served as program director and associate consultant for North Carolina WMU’s Camp Mundo Vista.
Prior to this post, she was minister of children and youth at Salem Baptist Church, Sneads Ferry, N.C., and as campus ministry intern and associate advisor to international students at Gardner-Webb University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mars Hill College, and a master of divinity in Christian education degree from Campbell University Divinity School.
“Suzanne will be a valuable asset as we seek to reach today’s students with opportunities for missions involvement,” said Carol Causey, director of the WMU missions resource center. “She has a blend of experiences with teens, young collegiate women, and camping that uniquely qualifies her for our work at WMU.”
