Satterwhite joins Baptist Foundation as field coordinator

Cliff Satterwhite recently joined the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina as part-time field development coordinator. He will also continue his duties as part-time director of disaster relief for the South Carolina Baptist Convention.

He has a long history of denominational work in South Carolina. He has served several churches, was campus minister at Anderson College (now Anderson University), and is well known for his work as director of McCall Royal Ambassador Camp (where he is now director emeritus), and as director of South Carolina Baptist Disaster Relief, a program he implemented and developed.

In his work with the Foundation, Satterwhite will be concentrating on relationships with associations and churches in the central and eastern areas of the state.

“Cliff will bring a great deal of enthusiasm and recognition to the team,” said Barry Edwards, Baptist Foundation president and CEO. “He is – a highly motivated Christian servant who loves the Lord and loves people.”

In his spare time, Satterwhite enjoys officiating track and field meets at the high school and college levels. He and his wife Barbara live in Columbia, where they are members of Midtown Fellowship. They have three children and five grandchildren.
