In early July, a group of 16 adults and 13 teenagers from Kittiwake Baptist Church in West Columbia traveled to eastern Kentucky for a week. It was the church’s eighth mission trip to the area. The team hosted VBS programs for churches in Dayhoit and Loyall, Ky., and did home repairs while sharing the gospel with a homeowner. “The best part of the trip was when the Holy Spirit moved within our midst, and more than 20 children and adults came forward to accept [Christ] or rededicate their lives to the Lord,” said Lisa Pruett, who served as mission director for the trip.
