Smoak

BENJAMIN SMOAK began serving as pastor of Mountain Springs Baptist Church, Piedmont, on July 8. He previously served at Calvary Baptist Church, Neeses. Smoak is a graduate of North Greenville University, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He is currently a member of the South Carolina Baptist Convention Executive Board and is chairman of the scholarships committee. Smoak and his wife Amanda have two children, Andrew and Kaylee.

 

Sellars

SEAN SELLARS was recently ordained to the ministry by his home church, Simpsonville First Baptist. Sellars completed his master of divinity degree at Southwestern Seminary in May 2011. He also holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Clemson University (1994). He previously served as executive minister at Parkview Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas, and as ministry associate at Southcliff Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Sellars and his wife Shannon have two children, John Michael and Ashlyn Nicole.
