Woody OliverWILLIAM “WOODY” OLIVER is the new pastor of Woodfields Baptist Church, Greenwood. Formerly assistant pastor at Northlake Baptist Church in Garland, Tex., Oliver began his ministry at Woodfields Dec. 18. He and his wife Dena have four daughters: Olivia, Adrienne, Kate and Bailey.
David MooneyhamDAVID MOONEYHAM JR., associate pastor of Sunset Boulevard Baptist Church, Lexington Association, and graduate of Southeastern Baptist Seminary, has been called to active duty in the Army. He will serve as chaplain at Fort Knox, Ky. Mooneyham and his wife Mary have three children: Elizabeth, Gabrielle and Trey.
Robert AlfordROBERT ALFORD has been called as pastor of Taylors Grove Baptist Church, Lancaster. He recently served as pastor of Oakwood Acres Baptist Church, Rock Hill. A graduate of Winthrop University, Alford and his wife Kathy have two daughters and one grandson.
Gary HallquistGARY HALLQUIST began work Jan. 1 as minister of music and worship at First Baptist Church, Taylors. A native of Shreveport, La., he is a graduate of North Texas State and Oral Roberts universities and Beeson Divinity School. He previously was assistant professor of worship ministries at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Sherrell have three children and two grandchildren.
